Laura Wolvaardt:- Right-handed batsman Laura Wolvaardt was born in Milnerton, Western Cape, South Africa, on April 26, 1999. She participated in the Women’s Big Bash League for the Brisbane Heat in addition to the South Africa team. She was a member of multiple domestic cricket teams. Laura earned an opportunity to play for the South African national team because she excelled in domestic cricket. She was asked to play cricket for the South Africa Under-19 team when she was 13 years old, and she captained the squad. She made her international debut for South Africa while she was still a high school student.

In the first game of a three-match series against England Women, on February 7, 2016, the sixteen-year-old made her debut for South Africa in the Women Oneday International (WODI) format. She played her first Women’s T20 match for South Africa against the Ireland national team on August 1, 2016. She was given a test cap for South Africa’s June 27, 2022, match against England after six years, however she was unable to participate.

Regarding her cricket career, she began playing professionally only when she was eleven or twelve years old. Before making her debut for the Western Province women’s cricket team against the Boland women’s cricket team in a Twenty20 match in October 2013, Wolvaardt started playing domestic cricket at the age of thirteen with the Western Province Under-19 girls’ squad. She has also played for the South Africa Under-19 women’s side and won the 2013 Cricket South Africa Under-19 Girls Week as the best scorer. She was then picked for the first time in the 2015–16 season for the South African national team.
